Hello. I'm Mikael Turchetti, a 30-year-old 35-year-old freelance writer based in Lyon, South East France, specialising in trailrunning and ultrarunning. I was born and raised in Grenoble, being known as the Capital of Alps, but currently reside in Lyon where I work as a Project Manager for a large IT services company. Among many other things, I have a true passion for running and outdoor activities, practicing trailrunning and ultrarunning for years before becoming involved in Ultrafondus magazine, one of the most significant ultrarunning magazine in Europe. A great chance, an amazing experience.
Contributor to Ultrafondus Magazine
As a contributor to Ultrafondus magazine since 2004, I indeferently write about trailrunning and ultrarunning activities but readily admit a preference for trailrunning. I have written and published articles on a large range of topics, including race reports, top athletes interviews and news. However, I mostly focus on international actuality and already worked with some of the most famous names of the ultrarunning scene including Krissy Moehl, Pamela Reed, god himself Scott Jurek, Ian Torrence, Geoff Roes or legendary Tim Twietmeyer. To find out more about my writing, please check out some examples of my work below.
