Jornet crushes Tahoe Rim Trail record

The two-time defending champion of the Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc and 21-year-old running phenom, Kilian Jornet, set a new record completing the 165-mile loop of Tahoe Rim Trail in 38:32:00, besting Tim Twietmeyer's 2005 record by over 7 hours.

Lisa Bliss takes 3rd at Spartathlon

Congratulations to Lisa Bliss for her amazing performance at the 2009 Spartathlon in Greece. Lisa completed the 246 km (153.85 miles) with a 3rd place women's finish behind two athletes from Japan with an impressive time of 32:23:26.

Krissy Moehl queen of Chamonix

Krissy Moehl just left an indelible mark on the ultra-running world with a 2nd success at the Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc. Krissy's time of 24:56:01 also earned her a new Women's course record, made her the first American woman to cross the finish line, and landed her 11th overall.
